Seattle Startup Week

The lessons of entrepreneurship are extraordinarily valuable for kids, whether or not they ever found a company someday -- leadership, team work, confidence, critical thinking, creative problem solving, money management, and much more.   

In this informal event, Rebecca Lovell will lead our panel through a discussion of the value and tactics of teaching our kids the lessons of entrepreneurship.  What works?  What doesn't? Tips and tricks.  We'll hear from Scott Porad, CTO of Rover.com, Bob Crimmins, co-founder (with his 12-year-old daughters) of Wise Walker, Debbie Nazarian, National Area Director for Lemonade Day and Betty Nokes Capestany, president/CEO of the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce.  

This is a great event for parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, and anyone with an interest in understanding the entrepreneurship opportunities for kids or in working on entrepreneurial projects with the young ones in their families.  Of course, kids are welcome too.
